Kordarna 2

A new update for taking ideas, better storyboards, enhanced themes, and more.

Ideas

Somewhere to think before there is a project.

Ideas sit on a slowly turning sphere, joined to whatever they came from. When one is ready, it becomes a project.

The Ideas page in dark: outlined cards on the surface of a sphere, joined by lines, with a field at the bottom to add another.

Colour

Make the app your colour.

Eight primary colours in Settings. Every button, dot, ring and curve follows.

Storyboard

The Storyboard, rebuilt.

Boards live in groups that nest as deep as you like. Drag a board, or a whole group, anywhere.

The Storyboard tab in dark: a group holding two drawn frames on a soft floor, with Add board and Add group beneath.

Shot List

Link a whole storyboard group to a shot.

Link a group to a scene, and every shot inside it draws only from those frames.

A shot’s page in dark: its characters, the script lines it covers, and the storyboard frames linked to it.

Planning

Planning that asks better questions.

Who is it for, how long is it, where will it go. The due date and the budget are live.

The Planning tab in dark: the logline and overview above a grid of questions, with the due date and the estimated budget beside them.

Also new

Smaller changes you will still notice.

The launch screen’s greeting, the round new-project button and the long search bar beside it.
A home page that gets out of the wayA circle to create, a bar to search. Search reaches every project, every episode, every line.
The Account page in dark: three plan cards with a monthly and yearly switch, the current plan ringed.
Your account, clearerThe same three plans as the website, one Manage button, and a one-press offline backup.
Easily rearrange your workspaceDrag a tab, or a project in the sidebar. The others slide out of the way.

Your frames follow your writing

A frame linked to a line is a small tab beside it. Press it and the frame opens over the text.

Faces

A character can carry a picture, and so can you. It replaces the initials everywhere.

Large photographs, handled

A ten megabyte picture becomes a few hundred kilobytes, wherever you put it.

When something goes wrong

A proper screen that says what happened, with a way back.

Everything that changed, by area.
